RB Leipzig appear to have secured a replacement for highly-rated defender Dayot Upamecano - coming as a major boost to potential suitors Manchester United.
Upamecano, 21, is hot property in European football after playing a crucial part in Leipzig’s run to the Champions League semi-finals last season.
As well as United, it is believed the likes of Arsenal, Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been eyeing up a move for the France international.
Recent reports suggest the Red Devils could table a bid before next month’s transfer deadline following their disastrous 3-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace last week.

Dayot Upamecano shows off skills for RB Leipzig
Manchester United transfer target Dayot Upamecano has confirmed he has held talks with other clubs over a move away from RB Leipzig but insists he is committed to the Bundesliga side for now. Upamecano has been linked with a move to United in recent weeks and was previously a target of Arsenal. The 21-year-old starred in Leipzig's run to the Champions League semi-finals last season.
And according to Croatian newspaper Sportske, Leipzig have already got their hands on a replacement for Upamecano in Dinamo Zagreb’s Josko Gvardiol.
The Bundesliga outfit are understood to have settled on a £17million agreement for Gvardiol, who has also been attracting interest from Leeds
