According to a report from Sport Bild (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich is asking for a salary of €20 million per season.
This, of course, is in line with a similar request from Leon Goretzka. The only difference between the players right now is that Goretzka’s deal ends in 2022, while Kimmich’s ends in 2023. If the club is reluctant to meet Kimmich’s demands, it could push off negotiations for another year to buy time in sorting out how to proceed:
Joshua Kimmich, currently representing himself, held first talks with Hasan Salihamidžić. Kimmich's demands are also at around €20m/year. However unlike Goretzka, Kimmich's contract doesn't expire until 2023, so there's still time [@SPORTBILD] pic.twitter.com/fmSnaNvpOQ
