Member of the 2019 USA World Cup Team that finished with a 6-2 record and in seventh place. Played and started in the USA first two games before suffering a sprained ankle. Averaged 10.5 ppg., 7.5 rpg., 2.5 apg., 1.5 bpg. Shot 31.8% from the field, 25.0% from 3-point and 83.3% from the foul line.
Recorded 11 points and 11 rebounds against Turkey, 10 points versus Czech Republic.
During USA National Team pre-World Cup Tour, played in four games, started one game, averaged 22.5 minutes, 8.3 ppg., 3.5 rpg. and 2.5 apg., shot 31.4% from the field, 40.0% (3-4 3pt FGs) from 3-point and 77.8% from the foul line.
Named on July 22, 2019, a member of the 2019 USA World Cup Team.
Played on the victorious USA Blue Team (National) in the 2019 USA Blue-USA White exhibition game on Aug. 9 in Las Vegas, recorded a game-high 17 points (5-8 FGs), 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 blocked shot in 15:44 minutes of action.
Named on June 10, 2019, a member of the 2019 USA Basketball Men's National Team training camp roster that will be used to select the official 12-member 2019 USA World Cup Team.
Named to the 2016 USA Junior National Select Team that claimed a 101-67 victory over the World Select Team in the 2016 Nike Hoop Summit. Recorded 14 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot in 16:57 minutes of action.

Member of the 2015 USA Basketball U19 National Team that captured the gold medal with a perfect 7-0 record at the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship in Heraklion, Greece. NBA MILESTONES:
In being named in 2019-20 All-NBA third team became the youngest player in Boston Celtics history to accomplish that feat
Scored 50 points (16-30 FGs, 5-11 3-pt FGs, 13-15 FTs) to lead Boston to a 2021 NBA Playoffs first-round Game 3 win over the Brooklyn Nets. Became just the 6th player in Boston Celtics history to score 50 in a playoff game, joining John Havlicek, Isaiah Thomas, Ray Allen, Sam Jones and Bob Cousy. Also scored 50 points in Boston's 2021 NBA play-in tournament victory over the Washington Wizards.
Recorded a career-high and franchise-tying 60 points against the Spurs on April 30, 2021. Became the second youngest player in NBA history to record 60 or more points in a game (Devin Booker).
Is the fifth player in NBA history with multiple 50-point games in a calendar month prior to the age of 24.
Is the first Celtic in franchise history to record multiple 50 points games in a single season.
From Feb. 23-26, 2020, recorded three straight games of at least 33 points while shooting 60% or better from the floor to become the youngest player to accomplish that feat since Shaquille O’Neal in 1994.
Finished the 2020 postseason run with 26 career games of 20-points or more in a playoff game which is the third most in league history for a player before turning the age of 23 joining Kobe Bryant (32) and LeBron James (29).

In his NBA debut, recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds versus the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In Game 1 of the second-round series against the Philadelphia 76ers, he posted a career-high 28 points in a 117–101 win to become the first Celtics rookie to score 25 or more points in a playoff game since Larry Bird during the 1980 NBA Playoffs. After scoring 21 points in a Game 2 victory, he became the youngest player ever to score at least 20 points in four-straight playoff games at the age of 20 years, 61 days, surpassing Kobe Bryant who accomplished that feat during the 1999 NBA Playoffs at the age of 20 years, 272 days. After leading the Celtics with 24 points in a Game 3, he became the first Celtics rookie to score 20 points in five straight playoff games. Bird held the previous record of four. At the end of Boston's playoff run, he joined Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only rookies in playoff history to record 10 games of 20 or more points scored during their first playoffs.
