جکسون سی فرانک( Jackson C. Frank)(1943-1999) خواننده ی فولک امریکایی، در طول زندگی به شدت غمبار خودش تنها یک آلبوم(Blues Run the Game) منتشر کرده...او در کودکی پدر و مادر خود را از دست داد و در کودکی با سوختن مدرسه اش نیمی از همکلاسی هایش سوختند و او نیز سوختگی پنجاه درصدی پیدا کرد و در جوانی بعد از ازدواج فرزند خود را از دست داد و زنش طلاق گرفت... سرانجام بدلیل فروش کم آلبوم، افسردگی شدید و علائم دیوانگی نسبی دیگر آلبومی منتشر نکرد ولی آثار او بعد از مرگش فروش خوبی داشت:|
