بیلی جین» (به انگلیسی: Billie Jean) نام تکآهنگی شماره یک اثر مایکل جکسون از آلبوم تریلر (پرفروشترین آلبوم تاریخ موسیقی جهان) است. این آهنگ توسط مایکل جکسون نوشته شده و تهیهکنندگی آن، بر عهدهٔ کوئینسی جونز بودهاست. انتشار این آهنگ از لحاظ تجاری موفقیتهای زیادی را کسب کرد؛ بهطوریکه خیلی سریع به یکی از پرفروشترین تکآهنگهای موسیقی سال ۱۹۸۳ تبدیل شد و در رتبهٔ نخست جداول موسیقی آمریکا، بریتانیا و چندین کشور دیگر قرار گرفت. «بیلی جین» به عنوان یکی از بهترین آهنگهای تحول آفرین و انقلابی در تاریخ موسیقی پاپ شناخته میشود. این ترانه جوایز بسیاری، از جمله دو جایزه گرمی را از آن خود کرد. «بیلی جین» توانسته رتبهٔ ۵۸ را در جدول «۵۰۰ ترانهٔ برتر جهان برای تمام دورانها» که توسط مجلهٔ رولینگ استون تنظیم شدهاست بدست بیاورد. موزیک ویدئوی بیلی جین توانست مرزهای نژادی را در شبکهٔ امتیوی به عنوان اولین موزیک ویدئوی یک خوانندهٔ رنگینپوست، در هم زند. گونهای متفاوت از این آهنگ نیز به صورت سفارشی برای کمپانی نوشابهسازی پپسی صرف تبلیغات ساخته شدهاست. همچنین جکسون حرکت رقص معروف مونواک را برای اولین بار در اجرای زندهٔ این ترانه در ویژه برنامهٔ موتاون ۲۵ به نمایش گذاشت. اجرایی که به عقیدهٔ منتقدان، یکی از به یاد ماندنیترین و مهمترین لحظات در تاریخ فرهنگ عامه است. این ترانه در سال ۲۰۰۸ توسط کانیه وست و جکسون دوباره میکس شد و در آلبوم تریلر ۲۵ قرار گرفت. متن این ترانه دربارهٔ زنی به نام «بیلی جین» است که میگوید مایکل، پدر فرزند اوست و مایکل نیز به تکذیب این اتهام میپردازند. بخشی از متن این ترانه در زیر آورده شدهاست: «مردم همیشه به من میگن که مواظب کارهایت باش؛ و دور و برشکستن قلب دختران جوان نرو؛ و مادرم همیشه به من میگه مواظب کسی که دوست میداری باش. مواظب کارات باش چون که دروغها یکدفعه به واقعیت تبدیل میشود. بیلی جین عشق من نیست. او دختری است که ادعا میکند که من همان شخص هستم [که فرزندش را دارم]. اما آن بچه، پسر من نیست».
