"Just like Cristiano was saying, just to be here is a pleasure, it's a beautiful thing. I'm here to try and enjoy it. If I win it or the others win it it's all the same. Every year I try to do better than in my previous years. Last year thankfully I managed to beat almost all of them, we had an amazing year. I think we finished the year with a lot of good work. Our year was full of happiness and victories, to choose just one is hard."
NEYMAR ON MESSI:
"I not only admire him on the pitch but outside, the kind of person he is. He has really become an idol. He has been nominated for nine years so this is really an example for me to try to be like him. To try to make and break records and I hope to be able to follow in his footsteps."
